World's Leading Charity Wine Festival to be Held January 25 – 27 in Naples, Fla.

NAPLES, Fla. (May 2, 2007) – The Naples Winter Wine Festival, the most successful charity wine festival in the world and ranked by the Luxury Institute as a top 10 arts and entertainment event for wealthy Americans, announced that the 2008 festival fundraiser will take place Jan. 25 – 27 in Naples, Fla.

Celebrity chefs and vintners from around the world will participate in the three-day gala. Festivities include a tour of children’s charities that benefit from festival proceeds, followed by a wine tasting; intimate vintner dinners at elegant private homes; a world-class wine auction and lunch extravaganza at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort; a wine-down party and celebration brunch. The gala’s theme is Inspiring Tomorrow’s Heroes.

Attendance at the festival is limited to approximately 550 individuals. Ticket packages are $7,500 per couple; $20,000 for reserved seating at the same vintner dinner for two couples.

The Naples Winter Wine Festival is hosted by trustees of the Naples Children & Education Foundation, whose vision is based on creating an exquisite event, with proceeds benefiting local charities that assist underprivileged and at-risk children. Since trustees founded the festival in 2001, more than $55 million has been raised to improve the lives of children in need.
