Scott & Simone Lutgert
Scott Lutgert has been a resident and real estate developer
in Naples and Southwest Florida since 1970. His accomplishments include the development of Park Shore where his companies have completed 17 luxury beachfront high-rises. Additionally, Scott is developing a total of eight luxury high-rises in Bonita Bay, with five completed and a sixth under construction. He is involved in the development of two luxury golf course communities; The Estuary at Grey Oaks in Naples and Linville Ridge in North Carolina. He has developed and owns shopping centers and office buildings throughout Southwest Florida including The Village on Venetian Bay, The Promenade at Bonita Bay and Mercato, a mixed-use project in North Naples. Scott is Chairman of The Lutgert Companies, which includes Premier Properties of Southwest Florida Inc. REALTORS, Lutgert Insurance and Lutgert Title. He is a Florida Real Estate Broker and a member of many local and national associations.
Scott’s commitment to Naples and Southwest Florida has been evidenced by his personal involvement in various foundations and charitable organizations. Additionally, he currently serves on the boards of Naples Community Hospital, Naples Winter Wine Festival and Florida Gulf Coast University.
Simone Chassin Lutgert was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. Upon graduation from high school, she attended Memphis State University in Memphis, Tennessee where she received a Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in Education. She was a member of Kappa Delta Phi national honor society and graduated magna cum laude in 1973.
While raising her family in Memphis, Simone worked as a sales/marketing and advertising executive. In 1996 Simone retired to Naples with her family, where she spends her time volunteering for various charitable organizations. Simone is a Board Member and Capital Campaign Chairman of the Children’s Museum of Naples, C’MON; a 2005, 2006 and 2007 committee member for the Hats in the Garden Luncheon which benefits the Naples Botanical Garden; a member of the Magnolia Ball Steering committee benefiting the Magnolia Endowment for Research and Education at NCH/Lutgert Cancer Center; and co-founder of the Women of Means outreach program at the Shelter for Abused Women & Children. She also served as marketing and creative director for the 2005 and 2007 Naples Winter Wine Festivals and Auction Day Co-Chair for the 2004 Festival. Simone enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling, playing tennis and golf, boating, and snow skiing.
Simone and Scott have been married since November 2003 and together they have 7 children, 3 son-in-laws and 6 grandchildren. They spend part of their summers in the mountains of Linville, North Carolina.
