Three couples will experience the glories of the world’s greatest sweet wine. Through a combination of current releases, rare vintages and an exclusive visit, you’ll discover what has been delighting wine connoisseurs for more than three centuries.

Your journey begins in Paris with an overnight stay at Cheval Blanc Paris, located in the heart of the City of Light just steps from the Pont Neuf and the Louvre. During your stay at Cheval Blanc Paris, you’ll dine at the extraordinary Plénitude restaurant, honored with the ultimate accolade of Three Michelin Stars.

From Paris you’ll travel to Bordeaux for a two-night stay at Château d’Yquem, an exceptional experience not made available to the public. The site has been home to a vineyard since at least 1711, and the estate has been run by Pierre Lurton, president and CEO of Château Cheval Blanc, since 2004. The vines are planted to 80% Semillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc. In the official Classification of 1855, Yquem was ranked as a Premier Cru Supérieur, (Superior First Growth) the only property to achieve that designation.

Your party will tour the property and the cellar with Pierre Lurton personally, followed by a private, multi-course dinner prepared by an estate chef. The meal will provide the opportunity to sample a range of dishes that can be complemented by Château d’Yquem. In addition to desserts and traditional pairings such as foie gras, the wine is also a perfect match with lobster, mature cheeses, oysters, roast chicken and pork tenderloin.

Before leaving the city, you’ll be treated to an evening at the Opéra National de Bordeaux. The Opéra is located in the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, opened in 1780, one of the oldest wooden frame opera houses in Europe.

In addition, this lot offers a remarkable assortment of Château d’Yquem vintages in extremely rare Large Format bottles. The collection will include three Six Liter bottles (2013, 2014 and 2015), a trio of Three Liter bottles (2010, 2017 and 2018), three Magnums (2009, 2015 and 2017), as well as twelve 750ml bottles of 2005. The wines will be an exceptional addition to the cellar and a reminder of your time spent at the château.

Visit to be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates, planned at least six (6) months in advance, excluding Bastille Day, June 26-30, 2024, the month of August, Christmas and New Years. Performances at Opéra National de Bordeaux are limited and based on availability. Meals and wine are only included as stated above and include non-alcoholic beverages and gratuities. Gratuities are not included for any additional portions of the trip.
