Your Tuscan odyssey begins in Florence, with a three-night stay at Portrait Firenze, of the Lungarno Collection. Owned by Leonardo Ferragamo, this exclusive hotel will charm you, providing personalized hospitality and unique experiences. Relax at a table at Caffè dell’Oro and savor a contemporary take on traditional Italian cuisine, enhanced by a front-row view across to the Ponte Vecchio. Your experience continues with a two-night stay at Il Borro Relais & Châteaux. Owned by Ferruccio Ferragamo, Il Borro is a century-old hamlet surrounded by 1,700 hectares of organic land. Thanks to meticulous restoration that began in 1993 it has been restored to its former glory and now stands as the custodian of tradition, culture and sustainability and today speaks for the most elegant Tuscan hospitality.

When not relaxing in your Deluxe Suite, you can tour the estate’s wine cellar or art collection and explore the vineyards and olive groves on the Il Borro property. Located in Montalcino, Tuscany, in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Val d’Orcia, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, is set within a 5,000-acre 900-year-old Italian estate. Guests enjoy privacy, pristine nature and a refined selection of services and activities inspired by Tuscan traditions. The winners will also get to tee off at The Club at Castiglion del Bosco, Tuscany’s only private golf club.

After your experience with Il Borro Toscana, in collaboration with Lungarno Collection and Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, begin your five-night stay at Cuvée’s Tuscan Farmhouse. Located in the town of Gaiole in Chianti in the heart of Chianti Classico, Cuvée’s Tuscan Farmhouse is a beautifully restored 16th century estate featuring five deluxe bedroom suites with spa-like bathrooms, a heated infinity pool, a chef’s kitchen with an original fireplace, an outdoor terrace with a pizza oven and a bocce court with panoramic vineyard views.

Each morning, you’ll wake up to a breakfast of farm-fresh eggs from the estate’s own chickens and hens. Culinary experiences will include farm-to-table pizza making and a dinner of classic Tuscan dishes at the villa, as well as a private cooking class with a professional chef in the countryside. You’ll explore the city of Siena and the walled town of San Gimignano, famous for its Medieval architecture, and enjoy wine tastings at two additional estates.

During one of your days in Italy, you will also spend a refreshing day in the beach town of Forte dei Marmi overlooking the Ligurian Sea and dine at Ristorante Lorenzo, dedicated to the cooking of Versilia in the province of Lucca.

As a memento of the trip, each couple will receive a Six Liter bottle of 2017 Il Borro. Composed of 50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Syrah, the wine has been praised for its opulent texture, soft tannins and hints of spice on the finish and will drink well for several decades.

Airfare is not included. Visit to be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates and based on availability with blackout dates including Easter, Christmas and New Years and the months of May, June and September. The meal with Christine and Salvatore Ferragamo and tour of the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum with Christine Ferragamo are subject to their availability. Meals, wine and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are only included as stated above. The round of golf at The Club at Castiglion del Bosco includes a golf cart and rental clubs. Caddie fees are not included. Ristorante Lorenzo is only open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays and is subject to availability. If reservations are unavailable on the winners’ date of choice, the winning bidders will be able to select from an additional list of restaurants. Winning bidders have the option to invite three (3) additional couples to join them for the five (5) night stay at Cuvée’s Tuscan Farmhouse, but any additional costs for transportation or activities are at the winning bidders’ expense. Gratuities are not included for any portion of the trip.
