Dating back to 1385 and spanning 26 generations, the Antinori family has personified the Tuscan wine experience, creating a legacy of both excellence and innovation. Two fortunate couples will spend one week exploring the high points of the Antinori estates, with privileged insider access to the wine, cuisine and lifestyle of their dreams.

Your journey begins in Florence, where you’ll spend two nights in the private apartment behind Palazzo Antinori, located in the historic city center. While in Florence, you’ll have a private, guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery, home to a priceless collection of Renaissance art. You’ll also sample the cuisine of the region—first at Procacci 1885 wine bar and during a dinner at Buca Lapi, the city’s oldest restaurant, founded in 1880 in the Palazzo Antinori cellars.

From Florence your party will travel to Chianti Classico for a two-night stay at Tignanello, home of the “Super Tuscan” revolution and the vineyards of Solaia. You’ll stay at Villa Tignanello, a manor house dating to 1346, formerly owned by the Medici family. Your private tours and tastings will expose you to Antinori’s signature wines from the region.

You’ll explore the culinary riches of Chianti Classico during lunch at Rinuccio 1180 restaurant, known for rustic Tuscan food. While at Badia a Passignano, you’ll dine at the Michelin-starred Osteria di Passignano helmed by 2024 NWWF Celebrity Chef Matteo Lorenzini.

It’s time to visit the Etruscan coast where you’ll spend two nights in the guest house at Guado al Tasso, Antinori’s 900-acre estate. During a private tasting, you’ll sample the delicious white Vermentino as well as the flagship red, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Your culinary explorations will continue at Osteria del Tasso, known for its interpretation of classic Bolgheri dishes.

You will head from Orvieto to the Antinori estate of Castello della Sala in Umbria. Originally built in 1350, Castello della Sala today has over 400 acres planted to white wine grape varieties. You’ll dine at Castello della Sala and enjoy a visit to the historic city of Orvieto.

For your personal cellars, the winners will share a vertical of Marchesi Antinori Tignanello in Three Liter bottles, as well as a vertical in Magnums of Antinori’s magnificent Cabernet Sauvignon, Solaia.

Insider's Info

Visit to be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates and at least six (6) months in advance. Airfare is not included. Airport transfers originate and return to Rome. Helicopter transfer to Castello della Sala is based on availability and weather permitting and can only accommodate two (2) guests at a time. Meals are only included as stated above and are à la carte, with the winners’ choice of a selection of wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Accommodations are in Antinori private family guest houses and do not include reception or concierge. Due to the remote and historic nature of some of the properties, they are not ADA accessible, and some may not have reliable WiFi or televisions. Gratuities are not included.
