Two lucky couples will experience an immersion into some of the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Oregon has to offer. This six-night adventure provides an insider’s look at one of America’s most pioneering wine estates.

Grace and Ken Evenstad first arrived and settled in the Dundee Hills in the Willamette Valley in 1989. At that time, the couple had spent over 20 years together in Minnesota building a successful business, a loving family and a deep appreciation for the wines of Burgundy. Early on, there was no national market for domestic Pinot Noir. The Evenstads decided the climate of Oregon would be the best place. When the time came to pursue their longtime dream of making the best Pinot Noir in the world, they invested in a 42-acre hilltop property that had just been logged in the beautiful Dundee Hills of Oregon. The Evenstads established Domaine Serene, effectively creating Oregon’s luxury wine industry over the years.

Your adventure begins with four nights at the luxurious Domaine Serene Winery Hill House, a private villa perched on the hilltop with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. You’ll learn about the winery’s six different vineyard estates that offer a diversity of clones, rootstocks, microclimates, slopes and elevations that add distinguishing complexity to Domaine Serene’s Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

In addition to a private barrel tasting and blending session with Domaine Serene’s winemaker, you’ll be welcomed at Grace Evenstad’s home for a private dinner and wine reception with Grace and Domaine Serene’s vice president of winemaking and viticulture, Michael Fay.  The dinner will feature special wines from Grace’s own personal cellar.

During your stay, Grace will lead you on a tour through Domaine Serene’s two wineries, which includes the first dedicated white winery for making Chardonnay and sparkling wine in Oregon history. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to go off-roading with Grace in her Hummer to explore Domaine Serene’s newest and most hidden vineyards!

During your stay at Domaine Serene, you will visit the heart of downtown Lake Oswego for an evening of wine and wine-inspired cuisine at the very upscale Domaine Serene Wine Lounge Lake Oswego.

From the Dundee Hills, you will be transported by private car and driver across the Cascade mountains to the bustling town of Bend, located in the heart of Central Oregon. With an abundance of restaurants, breweries and outdoor venues, Bend has quickly become one of Oregon’s hot spots.

The Domaine Serene Wine Lounge in downtown Bend has elevated the wine scene in this Central Oregon town, with a unique culinary menu that showcases wine-inspired cuisine paired with wines produced by Domaine Serene, Château de la Crée and Maison Evenstad. Your itinerary includes dinner for four at the Domaine Serene Wine Lounge in Bend, as well as a round of golf and two-night stay at Tetherow, a luxury resort and golf course just ten minutes from downtown Bend.

As a cellar treasure, each couple will receive Large Format bottles of two of Domaine Serene’s most exclusive wines: a Five Liter 2016 Grace Vineyard Pinot Noir, from one of the most prestigious and special vineyards on the Evenstad Estate, and a Nine Liter of the very rare 2015 Aspect Pinot Noir, a blend from Domaine Serene’s most prized wines, including Mark Bradford, Grace and Côte Sud Vineyards. While you wait for a special occasion to uncork these gems, you can drink an assorted case of both new and library releases.

Insider's Info

Visit to be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates. Meals are only included as stated above and include select wine and non-alcoholic beverages. Winners will order food and wine off the menu at Domaine Serene Wine Lounge in Lake Oswego and Bend. Additional meals, alcoholic beverages and gratuities are not included. If the winners choose to rent a vehicle for the visit, they will receive a reimbursement of up to $800. Golf at Tetherow includes a golf cart. Golf club rentals are not included. The 24 750ml bottles will ship directly to winning bidders.
