Few Florida restaurants have been as hotly anticipated as The Surf Club Restaurant, Chef Thomas Keller’s homage to the grandeur of another era, located in the Four Seasons hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside, Miami. Forty couples will contribute $25,000 each for a once-in-a-lifetime, exclusive dinner at The Surf Club Restaurant on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Thomas Keller is one of the most celebrated chefs on the planet, renowned for his culinary skills and his exceptionally high standards. He is the first and only American-born chef to hold multiple Three-star ratings from the prestigious Michelin Guide, for The French Laundry in Yountville and Manhattan’s Per Se; he is also the winner of several James Beard Awards and the first American male chef to be designated a Chevalier of The French Legion of Honor, the highest decoration in France.

Keller earned yet another Michelin Star for The Surf Club Restaurant, his first restaurant in Florida, housed in a hotel founded in the 1930s by tire mogul Harvey Firestone. The original hotel attracted a clientele ranging from Winston Churchill and the Shah of Iran to Frank Sinatra and became a symbol of a glamorous age.

Under Keller’s direction, The Surf Club Restaurant menu interprets classic Continental cuisine for a modern audience. The restaurant menu is known for delicious options such as lobster thermidor, Dover Sole meunière or Prime beef short rib Wellington. The world-class wine list combines the best of California and Europe. On the night of the 2024 Million Dollar Meal, the winning couples will enjoy exclusive use of the restaurant and a delectable multi-course award-winning tasting menu planned specifically for the Naples Winter Wine Festival winning bidders and paired with fine wines.

The 40 couples on this lot are winners in more ways than one. In addition to enjoying one of the most spectacular meals of the year, they will have the satisfaction of knowing that 100% of the money raised will be channeled directly to children in need in Collier Country through NCEF’s grant partners.

This lot is date specific and must be taken Thursday, November 21, 2024. The cost to attend for each couple is $25,000 and is only available for forty (40) couples. Food, wine and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages served during the reception and dinner, taxes and gratuities are included. Airfare, accommodations and ground transportation are not included and are the responsibility of the winning bidders. NCEF will offer a room block at the Four Seasons at The Surf Club in Surfside, Florida for the night of Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the winning bidders’ expense. Room reservations are based on availability and must be made no later than October 30, 2024.
