This lot offers an unprecedented opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime visit to the prestigious Petrus wine estate in Bordeaux.

Petrus is one of the most iconic wines of Bordeaux, produced in Pomerol. Its vineyard— 11.3 hectares (28 acres)—lies on a gently sloping hill, at the highest point of the Pomerol Appellation. Often referred to as the “buttonhole of clay,” it is a unique terroir.

The history of Petrus has been built on talented duos, who will pass on their values, their convictions and their knowledge, with unfailing rigor in their quest for excellence. Jean Moueix is at the head of the estate, which his grandfather, Jean-Pierre Moueix, began to shape and promote before his uncle and his father, Christian and Jean-François, took over. Olivier Berrouet has managed the cellars and the vineyard since 2008, replacing his father whose first vintage was in 1964.

There are no visits at Petrus but exceptionally for the Naples Winter Wine Festival, Jean Moueix is happy to have the property’s doors open to welcome your group for a tour of the cellars and a tasting, followed by lunch at the Moueix family home in Libourne.

Having experienced one of Bordeaux’s most celebrated wine estates, it’s now time to give you The World.
