Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild, founders of Opus One, were ardent supporters of the arts in many different forms. The winning bidders’ party will experience a combination of renowned musical artists and emerging talent at Festival Napa Valley, paired with the very best of wine, food and hospitality at Opus One, as you celebrate the power of the arts to connect, inspire and transform.

Four couples will fly by private jet to Napa Valley, where they will spend five nights in luxurious, bungalow-style “Maisons” at the newly renovated Auberge du Soleil. Each free-standing maison sprawls over more than 1800 square feet and has two bedrooms, two baths, a separate living room with fireplace and sweeping views of the Napa countryside.

Your experience will begin on Friday at Opus One with an al fresco lunch in the estate vineyards, followed by an evening of exclusive access to artists and wine industry stars at events throughout the valley. During the opening weekend of the Festival, your party will enjoy the benefits of custom VIP patron packages, including extraordinary opera, classical, jazz and dance performances among the Vineyards; center orchestra seating and access to the Patron Lounge; and backstage access and meet and greets with artists. You’ll savor exceptional food, wine and music with Reserve tickets for Taste of Napa and take in the glamor at the Arts for All Gala, the Festival’s marquee event that has featured headliners such as Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Seal and Trisha Yearwood.

You’ll have a behind-the-scenes look into the creation of one of Napa’s most prestigious and collectible wines during a private tasting of Opus One hosted by winemaker Michael Silacci. On your final evening, you’ll be welcomed back to Opus One where you’ll be fêted with a Champagne and caviar reception, a private concert at the winery and a multi-course, locally inspired dinner, prepared by executive winery chef Sarah Scott. The meal with be accompanied by a selection of vintages from the 45-year history of Opus One.

As a remembrance of your visit, each couple will receive a Double Magnum of 2014 Opus One, signed by Michael Silacci. The 2014 vintage received near-perfect scores from critics, with James Suckling praising its “exquisite tension and finesse with an almost Burgundian texture,” while observing that it was still “Napa in its soul.” When you uncork this bottle at a future date, you’ll hear music reverberating in your ears and see the vineyards of Opus One in your mind.

This trip is date-specific with an option to fulfill at either the 2024 or 2025 Festival Napa Valley. The trip will take place from Friday, July 12-Wednesday, July 17, 2024, or Friday, July 11-Wednesday, July 16, 2025. All four (4) couples must take the trip during the same year. Private Air on a Hawker 900XP is included but is subject to change based on availability. Accommodations at Auberge include two (2) Private Maisons with two (2) bedrooms each. Two (2) couples will share one (1) Private Maison together. Meals, wine and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included only as stated above. Gratuities are not included.

Update: Lionel Richie will headline an intimate concert at the Arts for All Gala and the winning bidders will have backstage passes to the concert.
