One fortunate couple will experience the epitome of fashion and art expressed through the medium of the world’s most precious stones—the Chanel High Jewelry Collection.

The High Jewelry Collection was born in 1932 during the depths of the Depression, when the International Union of Diamond Merchants asked Coco Chanel to help publicize their jewels. The House of Chanel applied the principles of haute couture to jewelry, and each year the Collection continues to be reimagined.

Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, later known as Coco, was born into extreme poverty in 1883 in Central France. Her father sent his daughters to an orphanage run by a convent, which was where Coco learned to sew. She began as a seamstress and graduated to designing hats, becoming a licensed milliner in 1910. After operating successful boutiques in Deauville and Biarritz, she opened her legendary maison de couture in 1921 at 31, rue Cambon in Paris.

The High Jewelry Collection represents the essence of the Chanel style, elegant and timeless. Last year’s Collection translated the House’s emblematic tweed into high jewelry, making it as supple and sensual as the fabric that inspired it. From the Tweed Camélia Necklace, an extraordinary cascade of graduated pink sapphires, to the Tweed Pastel Bracelet, delicately interwoven with gemstones, the one-of-a-kind pieces were unforgettable.

The year before, the Collection featured 77 pieces that commemorated its 90th anniversary. They included a transformable necklace with a 55.55-carat, blue-cut sapphire, and two other designs comprised of white and yellow diamonds weighing 19.32 carats each.

No one knows for sure what will be in the Collection this year, but the winning bidder will have privileged access to the premiere. You’ll board a Business Class flight to the French Riviera and attend Chanel’s gala, a black-tie dinner. Afterward, you’ll be the first to have an opportunity to view and purchase pieces from the Collection. During your stay at a Five-star hotel, the Chanel team will customize a range of activities based on your personal interests.
