Sandi and Tom Moran’s wine cellar made news in a Wine Spectator feature titled The Pétrus Under the Stairs.
The 2016 Naples Winter Wine Festival (NWWF) co-chairs 4000+ cellar includes 14 vintages of Château d’Yquem, 50 bottles of Krug, 28 vintages of Château Haut-Brion back to 1928 and more. The Wine Spectator article outlines more details.
The wines are displayed in a showcase space in a stunning cellar under the staircase with glass panels stretching from floor to ceiling, conveniently situated within view of the dining room table and shielded from direct sunlight.
The Moran’s love for wine has extended to participation in the NWWF. Their involvement has grown over the past five years to serving as the 2015 and 2016 Festival’s co-chairs. Sandi also chairs the Vintner Committee and Tom has served on the Grant Committee.
